Crumbs: Creamy Garlic Sauce  

The perfect topping for chicken or pasta

If you’re looking to add some flavor to a simple meal, this creamy garlic sauce is the way to go. It’s great over chicken or pasta, but it’s versatile enough that you could put it over anything savory! 

Ingredients  

  • 1 tbsp. butter 
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 
  • 1 c. chicken broth 
  • 1 c. heavy whipping cream 
  • ¼ c. shredded spinach (optional) 

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in pan. Add garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant. 
  1. Add Italian seasoning to garlic mixture and stir until combined. 
  1. In separate pan, warm heavy whipping cream. Let simmer for five minutes to thicken. Then, add chicken stock. 
  1. Combine stock mixture with garlic and heat for another two minutes. If desired, add shredded spinach.  
  1. If the sauce is not thick enough, mix 1 tbsp. corn starch with 1 tbsp. cold water and add it to the sauce. Repeat until desired thickness is reached. 
  1. Serve over pasta or chicken and enjoy!
