If you’re looking to add some flavor to a simple meal, this creamy garlic sauce is the way to go. It’s great over chicken or pasta, but it’s versatile enough that you could put it over anything savory!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. heavy whipping cream
- ¼ c. shredded spinach (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in pan. Add garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
- Add Italian seasoning to garlic mixture and stir until combined.
- In separate pan, warm heavy whipping cream. Let simmer for five minutes to thicken. Then, add chicken stock.
- Combine stock mixture with garlic and heat for another two minutes. If desired, add shredded spinach.
- If the sauce is not thick enough, mix 1 tbsp. corn starch with 1 tbsp. cold water and add it to the sauce. Repeat until desired thickness is reached.
- Serve over pasta or chicken and enjoy!
