“Get ready to listen to music, sneak some drinks, paint your nails, and meet all of Elizabeth’s suitors,” because on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Hartung Theater, the University of Idaho’s Department of Theater Arts is presenting “Love, Liz.”
In the play described as a “hilarious romp through history,” the audience will embark on “a fabulous night of gossip and intrigue” with Queen Elizabeth I and her inner circle of friends.
Debating over duty and love, discussing suitors, “the good, the bad and the handsome” and having a look into the behind-the-scenes of the Queen’s life is just a piece of what you can expect.
Tickets for all UI students are free, so if you are interested in seeing who or if Elizabeth decides to marry, you can get tickets here. This production will be available at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 30-31 and Feb. 7-8. If the 7:30 p.m. shows do not work for you, there will also be showings at 2 p.m. on Feb. 2 and 9.
