When you hear the words “air fryer,” you may imagine the amazing ability to crispify frozen foods. But did you know you can also make juicy chicken breasts? It’s true. This is one of the simplest ways to cook chicken. It’s tasty on its own, paired with a side of vegetables or chopped and sprinkled over salad.
Ingredients:
- 2 thawed chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
- Place chicken breasts in a small bowl. Add olive oil and seasonings.
- Mix well, coating the chicken evenly.
- Set in the air fryer and cook at 370 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken to the other side and cook for approximately six* more minutes.
- Place chicken on a plate and loosely cover with tin foil, leaving a gap for steam to escape. This may seem unnecessary, but believe me, it makes it juicier! Leave for five minutes.
- Eat up!
*Author’s Note: For thicker chicken breasts, cook for about eight more minutes. For thinner, about four. To be certain the chicken is cooked, check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. It should be 165 degrees.
