It’s easy to get overwhelmed during midterms week, but it’s important to take care of your mental health. It doesn’t have to be a week full of endless tests and study sessions, and you can easily make time for some fun stress-relieving activities! You can get together with some friends or spend some alone time doing something fun to take a break from the weight of midterms week.

  1. Spend some time dedicated to your hobbies

Whether it’s knitting, reading or something else entirely, dedicating some time to your hobbies is a great way to lower your stress levels. Kicking back and relaxing with something you love to do is fun and healthy to take your mind off midterms.

  1. Get together with friends and have fun

Laughter and quality time with your loved ones is a great way to get your stress levels down. Laughter is the best medicine to cure stress, so get your friends together for lunch, a fun movie night or something to get your serotonin boosted!

  1. Go for a walk or get some exercise

Stretch your legs and take a brisk walk or go hit the gym with some friends! Physical activity is healthy and interactive to release pent-up stress and emotions. Getting your blood pumping and working away your stress is one of the most recommended ways to lower stress levels.

  1. Bake some delicious treats

Get your hands dirty and bake some sweet treats to eat either by yourself or with some friends. Having something sweet to eat makes everything better! Bake yourself some cookies, brownies or even something as fancy as a cake. Get creative and have some fun!

  1. Listen to some good music

Turn up some of your favorite tunes and let the music take all your stress away. Music is a wonderful outlet for expressing and releasing emotions. You can even turn it into a fun little dance party with some friends!
