On Wednesday, Sept. 25, a massive dust storm overtook Moscow and the UI campus, causing power outages and reduced visibility. Strong winds knocked down trees and shook buildings, making anyone inside nervous. After around 30 minutes, the dust settled. Rain and thunderstorms then overtook the campus, slightly cleaning the air of the dust contamination. Then, soon after, everything returned to normal.
