Here are all the events you have to look forward to this week! 

Tuesday, Sept. 10 

Tuesday Market: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Join the community for the Tuesday Market at the Latah County Fairgrounds in Moscow. This weekly market runs through Oct. 15 and features live music, local produce, meat products, free food samples, a beer garden, a food truck, and more. K-Punk at the Kenworthy: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

See Korean punk culture at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre. The event kicks off with a screening of the 2015 documentary “Us & Them: Korean Indie Rock in a K-Pop World,” followed by a performance from Seoul’s own God of Universe. The event is free and open to the public, part of the Habib Institute for Asian Studies’ AsiaPOP! The Korean Wave symposium celebrates the influence of Korean culture through the month of September. 

Wednesday, Sept. 11 

Education Abroad Fair: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The Education Abroad Fair will take place at the ISUB Plaza on campus. Meet with Education Abroad staff, campus departments and international program providers to learn about study abroad opportunities, scholarships and more. Attendees can speak with students who have recently studied abroad and enter a raffle for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for future international experiences. 

Thursday, Sept. 12 

Therapy Dogs: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Take a break and de-stress with therapy dogs from Palouse Paws at the Library on the main campus. Drop in anytime during the session to relax and unwind. Hosted by Vandal Health Education, which aims to support student well-being through health resources and education on campus. For more information, email [email protected]

Take Back the Night: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Join the University of Idaho Women’s Center and Violence Prevention Programs for “Take Back the Night,” an event dedicated to raising awareness of interpersonal violence on campus. The evening will begin with a keynote address in the Agricultural Science Building, room 106, followed by a candlelit march around campus. The first 50 attendees will receive a self-care bag. Friday, Sept. 13 

CBE 100th Year Celebration Kick-off: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

Celebrate a century of business education at the University of Idaho’s College of Business and Economics (CBE) with the 100th Year Celebration Kick-off in the Albertson Building, room 311. UI’s CBE is recognized as a top-value public university and ranks among the top 5% of business schools worldwide. The event will showcase CBE’s impact through its classes, hands-on learning opportunities, and extensive alumni network. 

Saturday, Sept. 14 – Sunday, Sept. 15 

Alpine Backpacking at Beehive Lakes 

See the Selkirk Crest with an alpine backpacking trip to Beehive Lakes. The Outdoor Program offers this adventure for $40 for students and $60 for others, which includes transportation and group equipment. A mandatory pre-trip meeting will be held on Sept. 10 at 5:30 p.m. Registration is first-come, first-served and can be completed in person at the Outdoor Program office in the Student Recreation Center.
