Parking permits for the 2024-2025 term will be released on July 9 at noon Pacific time. Here is everything students need to know.
On-campus students.
Students living in resident halls and on campus who wish to purchase a parking permit should consider which permit to choose based on where they will live.
The silver parking permits are $336 for the year and are for residents of Wallace, Tower, LLC, and McConnell Hall resident halls. This permit is excellent if you frequently use your car and want a parking lot nearby.
The economy permits are priced at $102 for the year. They are valid for resident halls, off-campus students, and Greek life. This permit is for parking further away and not traveling as frequently.
NCC (Tan) permits are only for the North Campus Communities and are priced at $110. This lot is at the NCCs and is valid in blue parking spaces on campus.
University Apartments (UA) Green parking permits are $343 annually. These permits are only valid for apartments in the green lots, not for the Elmwood lot.
Elmwood Apartments Green permit is $343 for the year. It is valid in the Elmwood apartment lot but not in other apartment lots.
Greek Life.
Member of fraternities and sororities choose their permits by which house they live in. Note: if you are a new student attending recruitment, permits for that go on sale on August 6.
Magenta permits are $336 for the year for returning members. The houses for this permit are Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Gamma Rho, Alpha Kappa Lambda, and Sigma Chi.
Purple permits are $336 for the year for returning members. The houses for this permit are Alpha Phi, Beta Theta Pi, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Delta Sigma Phi, Delta Tau Delta, Delta Zeta, FIJI, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Delta Theta, Phi Kappa Tau, Pi Beta Pi, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Pi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Nu, and Theta Chi.
Off-campus and commuter permits.
Blue parking permits are $108 for the year.
Red parking permits are $222 for the year.
Orange parking permits are $336 for the year.
Gold (Lot Specific) permits are $456 for the year.
Temporary parking permits are $1-4 per day.
Disability.
The annual Disability permit is $108 for the year. This permit does have verification requirements that can be found on the Parking and Transportation website.
