Canyon County’s first-ever pride festival is coming to Idaho this weekend. The Canyon County Pride Festival will happen this Sunday, June 9, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Lakeview Park in Nampa, Idaho.
This event has no cover fee.
According to the Canyon County Pride Facebook event page: “This event is a free, public, family-friendly Pride celebration commemorating nationally recognized LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Enjoy live music, DJ, art exhibit, food vendors, local non-profits, and more!”
Canyon County Pride organizers also specified that they have communicated with the Nampa Police Department to ensure festival-goers’ safety. There will also be volunteers on site for further assistance and comfort.
The event page also advises that participants wear sun protection.
