Crumbs: Bacon Spinach Shimp Pasta 

A creamy and savory meal

Bacon Shrimp Spinach Pasta | Brooklynn Jolley | Argonaut

Everyone loves pasta and bacon, but when they’re put together, it’s even better! This pasta only takes about 30 minutes to make and the flavor is incredible. The recipe is easy to customize to your liking if you’re not a seafood lover and it’s sure to become a new favorite meal! 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 tablespoon butter 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 
  • 4 slices bacon (chopped) 
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed) 
  • ½ yellow onion (chopped) 
  • ½ cup small shrimp (chopped) 
  • Or your preferred meat choice 
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream 
  • ½-1 cup shredded parmesan/Romano 
  • Spinach (to your liking)  
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 

Directions: 

  1. Boil water for the pasta and shred your cheese. 
  1. Melt butter in a pan, add in shrimp and half the crushed garlic. Cook shrimp until pink. 
  1. In a saucepan or pot, melt together oil and butter and add in your chopped bacon. Fry until mostly crispy. 
  1. Add in the rest of the crushed garlic and the chopped onion. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until onions are soft. 
  1. Add in your desired amount of spinach and cook until wilted. 
  1. Mix heavy whipping cream, parmesan/Romano, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let simmer until slightly reduced. 
  1. Cook your pasta to al dente (check package for time) and drain.  
  1. Toss together the sauce, pasta, and shrimp. 
  1. Serve and enjoy!
