Crumbs: Delicious Burritos 

An easy Taco Bell dupe you can make at home

Easy homemade burrito | Brooklynn Jolley | Argonaut

Ingredients: 

  • Flour tortilla 
  • Taco meat (ground beef, taco seasoning) 
  • Diced onions (optional) 
  • Shredded cheese 
  • Nacho cheese 
  • Refried beans 
  • Any additional toppings (lettuce, salsa, sour cream, etc.) 

Directions: 

  1. Sauté the diced onions in a pan and brown your ground beef in the same pan. 
  1. Add water proportional to the amount of ground beef you used, add taco seasoning and mix. 
  1. Steam off the water. 
  1. Open a can of refried beans, put it in a bowl and add some shredded cheese. Microwave until the cheese is melted.  
  1. Steam the tortilla  
  • A quick way to do this is to wrap the tortilla in a damp paper towel and microwave for a few seconds.  
  1. Open your tortilla, sprinkle some shredded cheese, spread a layer of refried beans, add some taco meat, nacho cheese, and any other ingredients you want.  
  1. Fold and enjoy!  

* For meal prepping, do not add the additional ingredients (particularly sour cream), fold and wrap in tin foil. Store it in the freezer and reheat in the microwave whenever you’re ready to eat it.
