Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, which means it’s time for chocolate-covered strawberries! They’re both easy to make and a fun experience to share with your friends and loved ones. Chocolate-covered strawberries are a classic of Valentine’s Day and a great gift to show your love!
Ingredients:
- Milk, semi-sweet, bittersweet or dark chocolate
- Whole strawberries
- Milk (optional)
- Sprinkles or decorations (optional)
Directions:
- Break the chocolate into small pieces and put in a microwave-safe bowl or cup.
- Add a dash of milk (optional).
- Microwave at 15 to 20-second intervals until fully melted.
- Wash your strawberries.
- Dry them VERY thoroughly—the chocolate will not stick if the strawberries are wet at all.
- Dip most of a strawberry into the chocolate, leaving enough space at the top to hold it.
- Repeat until all strawberries are coated with chocolate. You can add some sprinkles here for decoration.
- Place them on parchment paper or a plate/pan and chill in the fridge or freezer until the chocolate is solid.
- Serve and enjoy!
