As the weather warms up and Vandals hope for an early spring, there is lots of fun to be had on campus to enjoy the sunshine and time with friends. This week is also a great time to make connections and move forward with your career with the Career fair happening on Wednesday. Check out these exciting activities and events in Moscow this week!
Career Fair
The career fair will be happening on Wednesday from 2-6 p.m. in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. Attendees can meet with organizations seeking to recruit Vandal students for jobs, internships or graduate school opportunities.
For students hoping to polish their resume and prepare for the career fair, Resume Rush is happening on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the ISUB Overlook Lounge. This is a chance for students to get help from Career Services to be fully prepared for the Career fair.
Black History Month
February is Black History Month, and UI’s Black/African American Cultural Center (BAACC) is hosting several events throughout the week to celebrate. More information and details about the schedule of events can be found here.
“Go Dog Go”
The UI Theater department’s latest show, “Go Dog Go” is continuing to show this week from Thursday to Sunday. The play is a fun rendition of the classic children’s book and is sure to be a lighthearted and enjoyable way to spend an evening at the theater. Tickets are free for students, and more information can be found here.
Sailish the Hypnotist
This Thursday, Vandal Entertainment is bringing Sailish the Hypnotist to the UI campus for a night of laughs and fun. He will be performing in the Admin Auditorium and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Bird Count
Get outside and enjoy the weather and time with great people at the Paradise Audubon Society’s monthly bird count on Saturday in the Arboretum. The club will be in the Arb looking for birds from 6-11 a.m. and anyone is welcome to join.
Vandal Athletics
Vandal women’s basketball will be competing against Sacramento State on Monday in ICCU Arena starting at 6 p.m. This game is the eighth annual Tribal Nations Night at the UI, and there will be an exciting halftime performance as well as special giveaways throughout the night.
