The University of Idaho’s football team will host an NCAA playoff game for the first time in 30 years. The game against Southern Illinois will be held in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
Through private donations and donations from the Dean’s and President’s offices, 1,500 tickets are available for free for students. Students must fill out the Idaho Vandals FCS Playoff Ticket form by 1:00 pm on Thursday, Nov. 30 to enter to win. Tickets will be available for students through the Department of Student Involvement from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1.
If anyone would like to purchase tickets, they are $10 and can be purchased through the Vandal Tickets office.
ASUI is also holding a fundraiser for additional donations to cover the tickets to make sure students show up for the game. If you are interested in donating, visit uandigive.uidaho.edu to donate. Any and all funds that exceed fundraiser goals will go toward future student ticket events.
The game will also be televised on ESPN 2 with Kickoff at 7:02 p.m. This game will be the only college football game played during prime time.
