Happy Halloween Vandals! There’s plenty of spooky happenings to enjoy this week on campus as we wrap up October and head into November. Check out these exciting activities and events happening in Moscow this week! 

Tubaween 

Celebrate Halloween this Tuesday with Tubaween! The Vandal community can experience this annual low brass concert happening from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Haddock Performance Hall. This special Halloween concert combines low brass music and spooky storytelling. The musicians will be in costumes as they play, and the concert will feature both soloists and ensembles for a night of musical Halloween fun.  

POP Talks 

This Wednesday students can attend The Power of Possibility (POP) Talks happening from 3-4 p.m. in the Pitman Center Vandal Ballroom. Attendees can hear from UI faculty as they explore new possibilities and ideas, there will also be two $1000 scholarships awarded to students who attend in person. 

Paint Night 

Students can express their creativity this Thursday at the Happy Little Vandals Paint Night happening from 8 -10 p.m. in the ISUB Food Court. Hosted by Vandal Entertainment, this event is free to attend and all art materials will be provided. More information and the link to sign up can be found here

“Amelie” The Musical  

  After a successful opening weekend, the UI Theater department will continue presenting “Amelie The Musical” for students and the Moscow community. This musical has been described as an enchanting exploration of friendship and self-discovery. The show will be running Nov. 3-4 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 -4 p.m. Tickets are free for students and $25 for all others and can be purchased online.   

Vandal Athletics 

Men’s and Women’s basketball will be opening their season on Monday Nov. 6. Vandal Women’s basketball will be playing Walla Walla University in the ICCU Arena starting at 6 p.m.  

Men’s basketball will be facing Washington State University at 8 p.m. on Monday at the Beasley Coliseum in Pullman.
