As October draws to a close, this week is full of spooky fall activities and fun ways to spend time on campus. Students can check out these exciting activities and events happening in Moscow this week!
Wicked Wednesday
The UI JAAM Department and the Moscow Film society are collaborating once more to bring a horror film to the Kenworthy Theater as part of the ‘Wicked Wednesday’ series. The film, “The Exorcist” will be shown Wednesday night starting at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $8 for students to attend.
Monster Mash Bash
This Thursday from 8 – 10 p.m. students can join Vandal Entertainment for a night of spooky fun. Located in the ISUB food court, this event will include food, music and entertainment and a costume contest will be held so attendees should come dressed in their most creative costumes.
“Amelie” The Musical
Starting this Thursday, the UI Theater department will be presenting “Amelie The Musical” for students and the Moscow community. This musical has been described as an enchanting exploration of friendship and self-discovery. The show will be running Oct. 26 -29 from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. on Thursday Friday and Saturday, and 2-4 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be shows the following weekend Nov. 3 -5. Tickets are free for students and $10 for all others and can be purchased online.
Monster Match
This Friday the SRC Climbing Center is hosting a climbing competition event from 7-10 p.m. in the climbing center. Students can come to watch climbers compete and there will also be an aerial arts performance after the competition. There will be prizes and raffles from local vendors and national climbing companies. The event is free for students and $10 for all others.
Vandal Athletics
Vandal Volleyball will be competing this Wednesday against Idaho State starting at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Gym. Volleyball will be playing again on Saturday against Weber State at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Gym.
Vandal Football plays at home this Saturday against Montana State at 1 p.m. in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. Tickets for all athletics can be purchased online. Tickets are free for students, and guest tickets can be purchased for $25. Guest tickets are limited to two per student.
