Don’t let end-of-semester stress get you down this week. There is so much happening on campus for students and the community to enjoy. Check out these exciting activities and events happening in Moscow this week.
Earth Jam
Celebrate earth month and the upcoming Earth Day with this on-campus event hosted by the Student Sustainability Cooperative. This Tuesday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the ISUB Plaza, students can enjoy live music, food, crafts and more. This is a great opportunity to learn more about living sustainably and to get connected with the sustainable resources on campus.
Jazz Fest
The annual Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival is happening Wednesday through Saturday this week. There will be concerts, workshops and performances for the UI community to enjoy all four days. More information can be found here.
Earth Day Fundraiser
This Wednesday, the Conservation and Environment Club will be hosting a $1 coffee fundraiser to celebrate Earth Day and raise money for the club. From 8 a.m.-1 p.m. students can visit the CNR building’s west lobby to purchase coffee, teas and baked goods and have the chance to win raffle prizes from local businesses.
Games with Friends
This Thursday, students can drop in to play board games with friends in the Library Fishbowl from 3-5 p.m. for the monthly meeting of Third Thursday board games.
Grocery Bingo
This Friday from 9-11 p.m. in the SRC, students can play some bingo with the chance of winning free bags of groceries. The event is free, and all UI students are welcome to enjoy a fun night of bingo and maybe bring home some groceries.
Vandal Athletics
The UI community can root for Vandal Athletics this Saturday as the Women’s Soccer team faces off against Gonzaga University starting at 1 p.m. in the Kibbie Dome.
