There is no shortage of exciting events and activities happening at the University of Idaho this week. Students can take advantage of these opportunities to have fun, meet new people and even advance their careers. 

Safe is Sexy Week 

Feb. 6 -12 is a week designated to educate the Vandal community about sexual health practices and improving relationships. 

Wednesday, from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., the North Idaho AIDS Coalition will have their mobile HIV testing van on campus. Anyone can stop by the Vandal Health Clinic parking lot to receive a free rapid HIV test. 

Make DIY valentines and learn about healthy relationships this Thursday from noon-1:30 p.m. in the ASUI Vandal Lounge. Take advantage of this fun opportunity to create heartfelt Valentines for your partner, friends or family. 

Friday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. anyone can stop by the ISUB to receive free valentines and condoms. There will be a variety of condoms to choose from and fun valentines for everyone as well. 

Attend a Hypnotist Show 

Sailesh the Hypnotist will be performing Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in the Admin Auditorium. This free event features the performer dubbed the “World’s Best Hypnotist” by MTV Europe and is sure to be an unforgettable show.  

Career Fair 

The Spring Career Fair is happening this Wednesday from 2-6 p.m. in the Kibbie Dome. Students can meet hundreds of potential employers, learn more about their desired career path and pursue opportunities to secure internships and summer jobs. Vandal Athletics 

On Saturday, Women’s Basketball will be competing against Eastern Washington University at 1 p.m. in the ICCU Arena. 

Vandal Men’s Basketball will also be facing off against Eastern Washington on Saturday, starting at 3:30 p.m. in the ICCU Arena. 

Men’s Tennis will be playing Eastern Washington at 10 a.m. on Sunday at the Kibbie Dome.
