The Moscow Police Department has released that, starting Wednesday, they will begin the process of releasing the personal effects of the four King Road homicide victims.
The items being released to the family are no longer believed to be a part of the investigation. The items will be loaded from the crime scene into a truck by officers, where the effects will then be held in a secure location until the families of the victims are able to retrieve them.
Anyone near the King Road residence on Wednesday morning is asked to keep the road clear as to keep transferring of the personal effects private in respect of the victims’ families.
The MPD has also released a recorded interview with Police Chief James Fry about the process of the investigation team.
“We’re at that point in the investigation where we’re still gathering information, we’re still gathering tips…we’re still doing everything we need to do,” Fry said. “But there also comes a point in time when the family needs to have those belongings back.”
