As we turn the corner from October into November, students, and the Moscow community can enjoy the fun activities and events happening on campus this week.
Dia de los Muertos Celebrations
Come celebrate Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Pitman Center International Ballroom. Traditional games and crafts will be provided as a fun way to celebrate and honor loved ones who have passed. Meet new people and learn about new cultures at this free event.
Women’s Center
On Wednesday, Vandals can celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the Women’s Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Memorial Gym Room 109. Attendees can enjoy free refreshments, time to mingle with friends and a chance to sign a memory book looking back on the past 50 years of the Women’s Center’s accomplishments.
There is a ‘Lavender Lunch’ happening on Thursday at the Women’s Center from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Memorial Gym Room 109. Everyone is welcome for this free lunch and chance to make new friends on campus.
Vandal Sports
Vandal fans can come to support and cheer on our hardworking Vandal athletes this week. To start, men’s basketball will be facing off against Evergreen State this Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. at the ICCU arena.
Football is up against Eastern Washington University for Parents and Family weekend this Saturday at noon in the Kibbie Dome. The tailgate for the game will be from 10 a.m.-noon in the ICCU Arena Plaza, with plenty of fun opportunities for fans to get excited and hype for the big game.
