Saturday night, Emergency Services were called to Phi Kappa Tau after the collapse of the 49ers fort built in honor of their Philanthropy week, with four people hospitalized.
The Fort has been built traditionally by the men of Phi Kappa Tau for their philanthropy, and events are hosted in it to raise money for Serious Fun Children’s Network, a camp program for seriously ill children and their families.
Historically, the lumber from the event is then donated to local churches to help families in need. No statement has been received from the Fraternity as of publication.
