Crumbs: Date night chicken alfredo 

  Enjoy this 20 min pasta for two

Chicken alfredo | Grace Giger | Argonaut

Perfect to share with a partner or friend, this creamy chicken alfredo is a delicious fall dinner that’s easy to make. Ready in just 20 minutes, it uses ingredients you probably already have on hand, and it’s sure to impress. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Box of pasta
  • ¼ cup butter 
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half and half) 
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) 
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese 
  • 2 chicken breasts (chopped into bite-sized pieces) 
  • Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste 
  • 1 Tsp flour 

Directions: 

1. Bring water to boil and add pasta 

2. While pasta boils, season and then sauté chicken until fully cooked 

3. In a saucepan, add butter and minced garlic and stir until bubbling 

4. Add flour to butter mixture and mix until it thickens (adding more flour if necessary) 

5. Add cream and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently 

6. Once simmering, add grated cheese and fold into the sauce until fully incorporated 

7. Mix in the chicken and pour over the noodles to serve
