After allegedly threatening students with a knife on Paradise Path Monday evening, Moscow Police have identified the man involved.
The man has been cooperating with police with charges yet to be filed, according to an email sent by Jake Nichols, executive director of public safety and security.
While the incident occurred at the edge of campus, the man is not affiliated with the university.
“We appreciate the efforts of the Moscow Police Department to follow up on this case and continue to protect our campus community,” Nichols said in the email.
Nichols recommended using caution when walking at night, recommending the university’s Safe Walk program. Anyone can call 208-885-7233 and request security to walk them anywhere on campus.
