As the end of semester is approaching, there are lots of great opportunities to de-stress and make the most of these last few weeks. Keep an eye out for the many different activities and events happening at the university this week.
With finals coming up soon, it can be difficult to stay on top of studying and finishing all the final assignments before the semester ends. To help with this, on Thursday, April 28 in the Wallace basement there will be a “Long Night Against Procrastination” event. From 8 p.m. until midnight students can come to study, get tutoring and homework help, eat free food and enjoy a hot cocoa bar to make sure everyone finishes the semester strong.
For anyone interested in an entertaining night away from all the stress, the Theatre Arts department is putting on ‘Into the Woods’ this weekend. This beloved musical that follows classic fairytale characters on their adventures will be showing at a variety of times on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Admission is free for students and you can reserve your spot and find more information online.
And if you want to get outside and enjoy this beautiful Moscow spring, the outdoor center is having a River Canyon Backpack Trip this Saturday and Sunday. Anyone interested in backpacking and exploring the Selway River can join in on this exciting opportunity. The cost is $40 and if interested, sign up in the outdoor program office.
