Even though it may be midterms week, Vandal students still have a lot to look forward to. Including a lot of great ways to relieve stress and get away from all the chaos they may be facing this week.
To start, Monday, March 7 there is an exciting celebration of the amazing women in our campus community through the International Women’s Day Showcase. This event takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the ISUB Atrium, and anyone can come to watch these women share their cultures through various performances and presentations.
For those swamped with midterms and feeling overwhelmed, there’s a great opportunity to relieve some anger and stress on Wednesday, March 9 in the ISUB Plaza with Midterms Rage Room from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. This Vandal Entertainment event gives students the chance to write out all their stresses and frustrations on various pieces of dishware, and then relieve their stress by smashing these plates cups or bowls into nothing.
Lastly, before heading out for spring break, consider attending the theater departments most recent play, ‘Mr. Burns – A Post Electric Play’. The performance is playing Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and this is a great way for students to take a break and have some fun after midterms. Tickets are free for all students, and you can reserve yourself a seat here.
