A University of Idaho student passed away this weekend, according to an email from the Dean of Students Blaine Eckles earlier today.
Hannah Cleere, originally from Provo, Utah, died in Moscow over the weekend.
A junior at UI, Cleere studied English literature.
“As a community, we collectively mourn the loss of Hannah and share our sincere condolences with her family and friends who are most impacted by her passing,” Eckles stated in the email.
Students impacted and in need of assistance during this time can contact the Counseling and Testing Center at 208-885-6716. If you are concerned about a student, faculty or staff member and are unsure of what to do, UI encourages you to file a VandalCARE report.
The Argonaut will continue to update this story as more information becomes available. We share our condolences and hope to provide a full obituary if Cleere’s family and friends feel comfortable sharing.
