Public Health – Idaho North Central District

Data used is from Public Health District 2. The local district consists of Latah, Clearwater, Idaho, Lewis and Nez Perce counties. Updated Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.

Additional Updates

Free KN95 masks on campus

Starting Feb. 14, masks were made available across campus while supplies last. The mask mandate continues at UI as county rates were comparatively higher in Latah County.

University autonomy and ASUI

In Wednesday’s meeting, ASUI tackled the Idaho Legislature’s House Bill 631. The bill, if passed, would bar state entities from requiring face mandates. 

UI students getting vaccinated

Submitted vaccination proof has shown that 4,816 students have been vaccinated as of Tuesday. At the same time, UI Vice Provost Diane Kelly-Riley has seen COVID-19 rates improving. 

Testing kits in Moscow

Winco has begun selling testing kits, limiting to two purchases per customer. Free tests are also available to students at the Student Recreation Center on weekdays from noon to 2 p.m.
