A University of Idaho student majoring in music composition passed away Sunday night in a car accident, according to an email by Dean of Students Blaine Eckles.
According to the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, 22-year-old Samson Matthews passed away after a head-on collision with a tractor north of New Meadows and was pronounced dead at the scene.
UI senior Matthews was originally from Boise and known as a gifted musician who played several instruments. Matthews’ website features many of their musical achievements and works.
