After the cancelation of the Latah County Fair last year due to COVID-19, the fair grounds were full and lively despite the rain over the weekend.
The four-day event, themed “Lights, Camera … Agriculture!” was packed with live entertainment, carnival games, food stands and flashy rides.
According to the Latah County Fair website, changes were implemented to help keep fair-goers safer during the ongoing pandemic. Those changes included providing free masks, scheduling more events and entertainment outdoors, putting more space between exhibits and vendors, increasing indoor ventilation as well as increasing the number of hand sanitizing stations.
