AJR’s Oct. 16 concert at the ICCU Arena has been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances” according to a statement by the University of Idaho Ticket Office.
According to Senior Director of Communications Jodi Walker, AJR’s management did not give a more specific reason for cancellation.
Just days prior, AJR had also canceled a concert in Oklahoma City. According to the band’s Instagram story, it was due to issues with COVID-19 protocols, being unable to enforce masks, tests or vaccines.
The reason for their Moscow show cancellation has not been stated by the band or UI. Those who have bought tickets will be emailed and refunded automatically.
UI will still have its next concert Nov. 5 with the band Third Eye Blind during Parent and Family Weekend.
The Argonaut will continue to follow this story.
