Annie Lampman, author of award-winning novel “Sins of the Bees” will be hosting a virtual book talk and reading at the Latah County Library, 12:00-12:45 p.m. March 2 . The virtual event will feature Lampman reading from her novel, winner of 2020 American Fiction Award for Thriller in crime, and answering questions from her audience.
“I’m open to all questions,” Lampman said. “Open to everything from topics in my book to my experience writing.”
The event is free and accessible with or without a Facebook account through Facebook Live, those with an account can RSVP beforehand here. Those attending and are local to the Latah County have a chance to win a copy of Lampman’s novel by entering a question ahead of time on the Latah County Library Districts website here. People have to option to submit questions on paper at the Moscow Public Library.
Lampman has not released what part of her novel she will be reading at the event but does state she “has her favorites” and will most likely choose something to “excite and engage” her audience.
“I like to read passages from my book that give the audience a glimpse into what the book is about,” Lampman said. “I try to choose one that reveals the emotional tenner of the book.”
Lampman will also be presenting at a virtual version of the Get Lit Festival in April and has a limited edition poetry book that is set to publish in the late spring to early summer out of Limberlost Press located in Boise.
