A 75-year-old Coeur d’Alene woman died following a two-car collision south of Moscow Thursday night.
Passenger Calleen White died after the vehicles collided head-on at 7:36 p.m. near the intersection of Eid Road and U.S. Highway 95, according to Idaho State Police.
Hailey Dismukes, 24, of Post Falls, was traveling north in a 2000 Nissan Altima, accompanied by White and Brock Montee, 32, of Post Falls. Dismuke’s vehicle collided with a 2005 Pontiac Vibe, driven by Stacey Davis, 47, of Moscow, as it attempted to turn left onto Eid Road.
Davis was traveling south on U.S. Highway 95 when accident occurred.
Dismukes and her passengers were transported to Gritman Medical Center via ambulance, where White was pronounced dead, police reported. Davis was transported to Gritman in a personal vehicle.
Police are still investigating the crash and are looking into which passengers were wearing seatbelts.
Witnesses are asked to contact the District 2 patrol office at 208-750-9300 to report information related to the event.
