Monday, Aug. 10

1:53 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A caller advised a tenant on W A Street has been acting aggressive towards other tenants and has collected “a number of expensive bikes.” An officer advised and no report was taken.

2:23 p.m. Civil Calls: A caller reported a woman and her daughter were not wearing masks near the meat section in WinCo. Officers responded and no report was taken.

4:51 p.m. Civil Calls: A caller reported people not wearing masks handing out food near Walgreens. The caller said it looked like they were displaying anti-mask signs.

5:13 p.m. Civil Calls: An officer requested a case for callers concerned about a gathering near Rosauers and Walgreens. An officer responded and no report was taken.

5:38 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A man was going through bikes which didn’t belong to him on S Asbury Street. The man said he was drunk and didn’t know which bike was his. The caller stated the man looked like he was stealing a bike. An officer responded and no report was taken.

9:08 p.m. DUI Alcohol or Drugs: A man was arrested for driving under the influence on W Sixth Street and Perimeter Drive. A report was taken.

Tuesday, Aug. 11

6:39 a.m. Theft Other: A reporting party stated her bike had been stolen from in front of her apartment on S Mountain View Road sometime between 9:30 p.m. the previous night and 5:30 a.m. that morning. A report was taken.

8:28 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A man riding a bike ditched it behind the reporting party’s house on Lynn Avenue. The report stated the bike was nice and the reporting party didn’t know why it was ditched or the direction the man went.

10:37 a.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A cougar acting strange and spooked was spotted on N Mountain View Road. An officer responded but was unable to locate the cougar. No report was taken.

5:32 p.m. Threatening: Officers responded to a report of threatening on Warbonnet Drive. One woman was arrested and no report was taken.

7:24 p.m. Pandemic/Epidemic/Outbreak: A gathering of 100 people not wearing masks was seen near N Polk Street. Officers responded and no report was taken.

9:55 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A man reported his daughter was being held captive in Moscow. Officers responded and no report was taken.

Wednesday, Aug. 12

2:12 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Two people in a white sedan honked their horn on their way down E Sixth Street near the intersection with S Washington Street. The people yelled things at the reporting party. An officer responded and was unable to locate the sedan. No report was taken.

6:22 a.m. Theft Other: A bike was stolen near E Daves Avenue the previous night. The reporting party did not have any suspects. A report was taken.

9:52 a.m. Theft Other: A reporting party advised that a business has his tank and will not return it. An officer advised and no report was taken.

3:34 p.m. Malicious Mischief: Someone stabbed the reporting party’s vehicle’s tire on S Van Buren Street. The reporting party stated this has happened at least twice before. An officer responded and no report was taken.

5:24 p.m. Theft Other: A bicycle was stolen from Renfrew Hall at some point that afternoon. An officer advised and was unable to make contact. No report was taken.

6:01 p.m. Theft Other: An officer requested a case of theft at Tri-State Outfitters. A report was taken.

8:24 p.m. Noise Complaint: Loud music and lots of guests were reported at Sigma Nu. An officer contacted and warned the subjects. Members of Sigma Nu were power washing the house and expected to be done in the following ten minutes. No report was taken.

Thursday, Aug. 13

8:37 a.m. Civil Calls: Employees and shoppers were seen not wearing masks in Spence Hardware that morning. An officer advised and no report was taken.

10:20 a.m. Theft Other: Moscow Alehouse reported another party using its dumpsters. An officer responded and no report was taken.

10:30 a.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A third party reported a bat in a bathroom in McClure Hall. A custodian informed the reporting party on the scene and the room had been blocked off. An officer responded and the bat was removed. No report was taken.

11:45 a.m. Nuisance/Obscene Phone Calls: Staff at the library received multiple phone calls from a person making obscene statements. An officer advised and no report was taken.

2:09 p.m. Illegal Burning: A caller reported what appeared to be burning brush about eight feet from the wall of a fraternity on Idaho Avenue. Fire and an officer responded. The fire was extinguished and no report was taken.

4:51 p.m. Burglary: A reporting party came home to N Polk Street and found their door ajar. The person was sure the door was locked when they left. An officer advised and no report was taken.

6:14 p.m. Theft Other: A University of Idaho employee advised they had a booth set up on Farm Road and W A Street. The booth’s sandwich board was stolen sometime between 4-6 p.m. An officer responded and a report was taken.

8:15 p.m. Domestic Dispute: Officers responded to an abandoned 911 call on Anna Street and arrested a man for battery. A report was taken.
