12:24 a.m. Burglary: A reporting party said the door to her basement on Walenta Drive was broken and left ajar. She closed the door, but she was worried someone could be inside the basement. Officers responded and no report was taken.
11:16 a.m. Trespassing Complaint: A person trespassed and stole property from Rosauers, according to a reporting party. An officer responded and a report was taken.
8:02 p.m. Civil Calls: A customer at a business on Baker Street was being hostile, according to the receptionist. The male customer was yelling at her and recording her without her permission. Officers responded and no report was taken.
Saturday, Aug. 8
1:48 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A house on N Grant Street is vacant and for sale, but a person knocked on the door and started calling a name. Officers responded and no report was taken.
8:56 a.m. Stray Animals: A stray dog was seen near Robinson Park Road and Joseph Street. The caller said it looked malnourished. An officer was unable to locate the dog. No report was taken.
10:27 a.m. Stray Animals: A stray dog was seen near E D Street, slowly moving west in the creek behind the reporting party’s house. An officer responded and took the dog to the shelter. No report was taken.
11:04 a.m. Civil Calls: A caller advised an anti-mask protest is scheduled to take place at Rosauers and she requested police enforce the mask order. She saw a Facebook post stating the protesters plan to boycott the mask order. An officer advised and no report was taken.
11:37 a.m. Civil Calls: One person refused to wear a mask at Walmart, according to the reporting party. The person was not an employee. An officer responded and no report was taken.
10:43 p.m. Trespassing Complaint: There was a man outside the reporting party’s front door on S Asbury Street threatening to beat him up. Officers responded and no report was taken.
Sunday, Aug. 9
1:27 a.m. Outside Fire: A fire in a backyard on Tamarack Drive was out of control. Law, fire and emergency medical services responded. No report was taken.
1:58 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A person was heard screaming in the street. The voice was possibly male and near Walgreens, might be in the C Street area. Officers responded and no report was taken.
2:45 a.m. Gunshot Sounds: A reporting party on S Blaine Street heard three to four gunshots. She did not see anyone, she just hear the noise. No report was taken.
12:09 p.m. Civil Calls: Four people were seen in WinCo not wearing masks. An officer advised and no report was taken.
2:21 p.m. Malicious Mischief: Someone egged the reporting party’s garage on E Seventh Street while she was out of town. She did not have any suspects. An officer contacted the reporting party. No report was taken.
6:47 p.m. Civil Calls: A caller saw about 20-25 people at The Crossing Church not wearing masks or social distancing. An officer responded and no report was taken.
8:03 p.m. Assault: A tenant shoved the reporting party when he tried to collect rent. Officers responded and a report was taken.
9:04 p.m. Other Law Enforcement Calls: A party of approximately 50 people not wearing masks were seen on E Sixth and S Adams Streets. An officer advised and no report was taken.
10:17 p.m. Stray Animals: A female black and white border collie with a collar but no tags and an injury on her left paw was seen outside the Moscow Police Department. An officer responded and transported the dog to the Humane Society. No report was taken.
