On-campus Chick-fil-A reopens today

The Chick-fil-A location in the University of Idaho Student Union Building reopens today with adjusted hours and a special offer. 

According to the event Facebook page, this Chick-fil-A location will offer complimentary meals to children ages 12 and under. The meal consists of eight chicken nuggets, a cookie and a bottled water. No purchase is necessary, but the deal is limited to one meal per child per day. The deal will last Aug. 10-27. 

“Vandals Dining consistently strives to perform as much community outreach as possible,” Vandals Dining stated in a press release about the offer. “And with the heightened levels of food scarcity due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vandals Dining felt now was the time to go the extra mile for children in the community.” 

The only other Vandals Dining location open to the public now is Einstein Bros. Bagels. Additional locations will open on Aug. 18.

Chick-fil-A is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday until Aug. 14. Afterwards, the business will return to its normal hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
