Monday, Aug. 3

9:15 a.m. Theft Other: A caller reported someone using their trash and recycling on W Palouse River Drive. An officer responded and no report was taken.

10:34 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A reporting party thought he saw someone burning a mattress on Travois Way about thirty minutes before the report. An officer responded and no report was taken.

12:04 p.m. Stray Animals: A caller had a stray dog in custody on E E Street. An officer responded and transported the dog to the shelter. No report was taken.

1:45 p.m. Civil Calls: A bike was found by a dumpster at the Camas Village Apartments. The reporting party wanted to run the serial number. An officer responded and no report was taken.

5:32 p.m. Theft Other: A caller reported her bike was stolen either that day or the day before. An officer advised and a report was taken.

10:41 p.m. Malicious Mischief: A flyer on the Garden Lounge billboard was vandalized. A report was taken.

Tuesday, Aug. 4

9:21 a.m. Stray Animals: A stray dog was seen at the park on W Palouse River Drive. The reporting party tried to get close, but the dog bared its teeth. An animal control officer responded.

2:15 p.m. Malicious Mischief: The reporting party’s husband called her saying he was smashing car windows. The woman did not know where he was or what he was wearing, but he was on foot. An officer responded and no report was taken.

7:59 p.m. Warrant Arrest: Officers responded to W Palouse River Drive and arrested one woman. No report was taken.

Wednesday, Aug. 5

7:07 a.m. Theft Other: Five to six boxes of produce were dumped in a dumpster in an alley off of N Jackson Street. An officer responded and a report was taken.

10:39 a.m. Vehicle Prowl: Change and a hunting scope were taken from a locked vehicle on Queen Road. The reporting party was unsure how the thief gained access to the car, but they think they could have popped the lock. An officer advised and a report was taken.

12:05 p.m. Stray Animals: A dog with no tags was found on E Eighth Street. An officer responded and transported the dog to the humane society. No report was taken.

3:29 p.m. Theft Other: A bike was stolen from W A Street within the last three weeks. An officer responded and a report was taken.

5:49 p.m. Burglary: A person was trespassed from Rosauer’s, came into the store and stole things. An officer advised.

5:52 p.m. Vehicle Prowl: The reporting party’s vehicle was broken into that morning. The car was unlocked and the reporting party did not have any suspects. An officer advised and a report was taken.

10:54 p.m. Stray Animals: A black, brown and white dog without a collar was found on W Palouse River Drive. The dog may be a hound. The reporting party, who had the dog in their custody, was willing to meet an officer at an officer at the humane society. An officer responded and no report was taken.

Thursday, Aug. 6

1:59 a.m. Fire: A reporting party walked by La Casa Lopez, saw smoke and something burning underground. They thought they might have put it out, but wanted it checked out. Moscow fire and law responded and no report was taken.

4:27 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A caller reported someone knocking and ringing a doorbell on Hawthorne Drive profusely. Officers responded and no report was taken.

9:27 a.m. Civil Calls: A person said Safeway told him it cannot enforce people to wear a mask. The person would like the business spoken to. An officer advised and no report was taken.

10:59 a.m. Citizen Dispute: A maintenance woman got in an altercation with the reporting party on E Fourth Street. Both people were separated. The argument was verbal only, but the woman got in the reporting party’s face. Officers responded and no report was taken.

12:23 p.m. Malicious Mischief: A caller reported three people were kicking and breaking pieces off of a retaining wall on Creekside Lane. An officer responded and no report was taken.

1:40 p.m. Civil Calls: Only one customer in a salon on S Main Street was wearing a mask while none of the employees or other clients were. An officer responded and provided information to the business. No report was taken.

5:01 p.m. Malicious Mischief: A reporting party advised her room on E Fourth Street was in disarray and she thought someone went through it. No report was taken.

10:10 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: All the lights in the reporting party’s home on Boyde Avenue were on, but nothing appears to be taken. They thought someone was inside at some point that day. Lights were on the reporting party rarely turns on. Officers responded and no report was taken.
