As we near the end of summer, the fall semester eagerly awaits. The city of Moscow is requiring masks to be worn in public, so be sure to wear one and practice social distancing at all physical events. Here is what’s happening on the Palouse this week.

Pullman Farmers Market

Time: 3:30 p.m.
Date: Wednesday
Place: Brelsford WSU Visitor Center
Price: Free

Drive over to Pullman and browse homegrown produce, goods and more. Support local vendors safely while socially distancing. The market has requested guests follow these rules: no more than 10 patrons are allowed on the lawn at a time, no food can be consumed on site, no sampling of items, social distancing of six feet between vendors and patrons must be maintained, masks are required and one person per group should be sent to shop when possible.

Produce Sale

Time: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Date: Thursday
Place: 425 Farm Road, Moscow
Price: Varies by item

This is the perfect event for those who love to cook. Visitors can come see what is ripe and available at Soil Stewards Farm . The farm asks visitors to park outside the fence and walk up to the shed in the middle of the farm to browse.

Screen on the Green

Time: 8:45 p.m.
Date: Thursday
Place: Theophilus Tower Lawn

A University of Idaho classic event is back on the Tower Lawn this Thursday, showing “Onward.” Bring blankets, snacks and masks from home and enjoy the film. During this time, the city of Moscow requires people wear masks and maintain social distancing. Those at the event can sit where they want as long as each group keeps its distance from others.
