July 25, 1985
Local golfers got the chance to raise money for cancer research with the American Society in Idaho. The fundraiser was held at the Elk’s Club Golf Course and the ASUI Golf Course. This article previewed that event.
July 23, 1997
The Kibbie Dome is a staple of the UI campus. This photo shows the dome getting its first coat of paint in 16 years. According to the caption, workers were paid 50 cents an hour to work on this project.
July 20, 1999
This advertisement for the UI study abroad program poses the questions “Where do you want to be during the millennium?” Many don’t have the opportunity to travel prior to college and study abroad programs can give them a chance to do that.
July 24, 2002
The 11th annual Palouse Pride march was held in 2002. The three-block-long march had 17 vendors which provided food, information, gifts, safe sex supplies, raffle tickets and games. The festivities ended with a drag show Saturday night.
“Moscow has always been a very supportive community. They are very positive and encouraging,” event coordinator Kathy Sprague said.
