Appaloosa Museum & Heritage Center: Live Exhibit  

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday  
Date: Tuesday through Thursday, Saturday 
Place: Appaloosa Museum & Heritage Center

Dusty the horse is coming to the Appaloosa Museum. Anyone can visit during the museum’s regular hours. Patrons are asked to not give treats to Dusty when they visit.   

Vandal Food Pantry Curbside Pickup and Mobile Food pantry  

Time: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.  
Date: Wednesday 
Place: Student Recreation Center Parking Lot, University of Idaho 

The regular Vandal Food Pantry cabinets aren’t open due to COVID-19. Instead, VFP is operating as a curbside pickup service. Bags are pre-packaged with fresh food and nonperishable items and given to those who attend based on the size of their family. Anyone is welcome to visit. 

Black Lives Matter Speaker Series: CeCe McDonald  

Time: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.  
Date: Wednesday  
Place: Online event

The Black Lives Matter Speaker series at UI is back again with their next event, scheduled for Wednesday. The speaker for this webinar is CeCe McDonald, a transgender activist. McDonald has traveled across the country to share her experiences, both personal and political, regarding being both Black and transgender. Registration at the link above is required to watch the webinar.  

Soil Stewards Produce Sale  

Time: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  
Date: Thursday  
Place: Soil Stewards Farm, 425 Farm Road 

Student interns and volunteers will sell fresh seasonal produce grown on their farm. This sale will have varied produce available each week. Updates regarding the sale can be found on the Soil Stewards Student Farm Facebook page. Social distancing and masks are required at the sale.  

Picnic at PCEI  

Time: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.  
Date: Friday  
Place: Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute, 1040 Rodeo Drive  

PCEI is hosting its next picnic to replace its regular Pubbin’ in the Patio event. This week, the picnic will feature French-style finger food from Lodgepole. Meal options are $20 per meal and must be order beforehand on the PCEI website. The picnic is limited to 50 people and the deadline to order a meal is 6 p.m. Wednesday. Food can be picked up at the Nature Center at PCEI and individuals can eat on site.
