Free events are coming to the Palouse this week for everyone to enjoy. From markets to movies, and drinks to games there’s an activity for everyone to enjoy. Create new memories to ramp up the summer.  

Grand Opening for Beer and Wine at Stomping Grounds Coffeehouse 

Time: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Date: Monday 
Place: Stomping Grounds Coffeehouse, Genesee 
Price: Free 

Take a ride to Genesee and grab a drink to support an up-and-coming businesses. The coffeehouse offers coffee, tea, smoothies, beer, wine, pastries and homemade soup. 

Online Pictionary 

Time: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
Date: Tuesday 
Place: Online Event 
Price: Free 

Ready to test your drawing skills and creativity? Join the online game and split into teams. Participants will be featured on Zoom’s Whiteboard while their team tries to guess what they’re drawing. The team with the most points will win prizes. Register by clicking the link above to claim a spot.

Pullman Farmers Market 

Time: 3:30 p.m. 
Date: Wednesday 
Place: Brelsford WSU Visitor Center 
Price: Free 

Stop by the Pullman farmers market to shop for ripe produce and handmade crafts. The market has requested guests follow a few additional rules: no more than 10 patrons are allowed on the lawn at a time, no food can be consumed on-site, no sampling of items, social distancing must be maintained between vendors and patrons and masks are mandatory. It is recommended to send one person to the market for each group when possible. Visit the market’s Facebook page to learn more about safety precautions.

Summer Reading Virtual Performing: Storytelling with Betsy 

Time: 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 
Date: Thursday 
Place: Online Event 
Price: Free 

Families and children of all ages are invited to tune in for a story this week. The theme is “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” inspired by the one-and-only Mr. Rogers. Betsy Bybell will teach storytelling techniques. Catch the show on the Latah library Facebook page.  

Outdoor Art Market 

Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Date: Saturday 
Place: Artisans at the Dahmen Barn 
Price: Free 

Join artists at an outdoor art market this week. There will be plenty of space to admire their work and stay safely socially distanced during this event. Pottery, leather work, sculptures and, jewelry will be on display. Remember to bring a mask, as Washington state requires them.
