Burgers are versatile. Whether you put cheddar cheese or an egg on top, this burger can be dressed up in plenty of different ways. Add this one to the list.
Many people enjoy adding chips on top of their sandwiches or burgers. This recipe recreates a similar texture without the chips.
Servings: Makes roughly six burgers
Cook time: 20-30 minutes
Ingredients:
- ½ pound ground beef
- 2 eggs
- Crushed saltine crackers

Directions:
- Mold the ground beef into patties.
- Crack the eggs into a bowl. Use a fork to scramble the eggs until the yolk and the egg whites are mixed well.
- Put as many saltines as desired into another bowl. Use a cup to crush the saltines into crumbles.
- Dip each patty into the egg mixture
suntil they are evenly coated. Take the patties out of the egg mixture and coat both sides with the crushed saltine crackers. - Heat a large skillet over medium/high heat. When the pan is hot, place the patties in the skillet and cook evenly on both sides.
- Serve on hamburger buns and top with whatever you like.
