Vandal Food Pantry Curbside Pickup and Mobile Food pantry  

Time: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday 
Date: Monday and Wednesday  
Place: Student Recreation Center parking lot, University of Idaho 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vandal Food Pantry cabinets aren’t open. Instead, VFP is operating a curbside pickup. Bags are pre-packaged and given to those who attend based on their family size. Anyone can visit to pick up food. VFP offers fresh food and nonperishable items.  

Game Bird Foundation July Board Meeting and Member Meeting 

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  
Date: Thursday  
Place: Latah County Fair and Event Center  

The Game Bird Foundation is hosting their July meeting this Thursday. The meeting is open to the public beginning at 6:30 p.m. Updates and information on how to become involved with the foundation will be given during the meeting.  

History Happy Hour: How Cultural Institutions Can Support Native American Culture and People  

Time: 5:30 p.m.  
Date: Thursday  
Place: Online

This virtual meeting will discuss how cultural institutions have a role in supporting the traditions and stories of Native American tribes. Stacia Morfin, owner of Nez Perce Tourism, and Janet Gallimore, executive director of the Idaho State Historical Society, will host the panel. Alison Espindola, event and rental coordinator of the Idaho State Museum, will moderate the discussion. There will also be a question and answer session. Questions can be sent beforehand to [email protected] or in the chat bar during the event. Space is limited to 100 people and registration is required to receive the link.
