5:04 a.m. Stray Animals: A caller found a dog on Alutras Drive. She took it to Snap Fitness with her and requested an officer take it to the animal shelter. The caller and the officer responded to the shelter and the dog was impounded. No report was taken.
11:15 a.m. Fraud: A reporting party advised someone else used her personal information to file for unemployment benefits. An officer advised and no report was taken.
12:19 p.m. Warrant Arrest: Officers requested a case for a warrant arrest on Vandal Drive. No report was taken.
12:34 p.m. Malicious Mischief: A reporting party noticed a window on Troy Road was broken. They didn’t think anything was taken.
1:28 p.m. Controlled Substance Problem: An officer requested a case and arrested a man for drugs on Vandal Drive. No report was taken.
1:38 p.m. Stray Animals: A dog was running through the caller’s yard on E Seventh Street for at least five minutes. An officer responded but was unable to locate the dog. No report was taken.
3:13 p.m. Stray Animals: A reporting party found a dog on S Harrison and E Sixth Streets, but couldn’t take the dog to the shelter because she had her own dog with her. Officers responded and took the dog to the shelter. No report was taken.
6:37 p.m. Theft Other: Stinker Station reported shoplifting. A report was taken.
8:05 p.m. Burglary: A caller reported a break-in on Logan Street. An officer responded and a report was taken.
8:33 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A complaint came in of a man in a van offering candy to a boy on Hawthorne Drive. An officer responded and no report was taken.
9:33 p.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A single moose was spotted on E Public Avenue walking behind a moose and going further into town. An officer advised and no report was taken.
Tuesday, June 23
4:14 a.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A moose was spotted on S Jackson and S Main Streets near Gritman. The reporting party saw it run into the bushes but was concerned it would run back out into the road. An officer responded and could not locate the moose. No report was taken.
9:38 a.m. Malicious Mischief: A reporting party found smashed stakes surrounding a small oak tree on E Second and S Van Buren Streets. The reporting party had no suspects and did not know when it happened. An officer responded and a report was taken.
10:36 a.m. Malicious Mischief: A bicycle at Keeney Brothers was thrown onto the hood of a vehicle the previous night. An officer responded and no report was taken.
10:49 a.m. Wanted Person: Officers were unable to locate a person on E Sixth Street wanted for felony arrest for escape.
10:50 a.m. Disorderly Conduct: A man was threatening to come in to the Hillcrest Motel. Officers responded and a computer report was taken.
11:02 a.m. Agency Assistance: A wanted person was seen heading towards the fairgrounds from Les Schwab. The person was found and arrested. No report was taken.
2:42 p.m. Stray Animals: A third party reported a pregnant stray dog by a duplex on E Morton and N Polk Streets. The caller did not have a description of the dog. An officer responded and was unable to locate the dog. No report was taken.
11:03 p.m. Gunshot Sounds: Officers responded to reports of gunshot sounds on N Almon Street. No report was taken.
Wednesday, June 24
1:01 p.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A cougar was reported near Leepike Circuit the previous night. An officer advised and no report was taken.
1:23 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A neighbor was seen creeping around the reporting party’s house on N Home Street a few minutes previous. The reporting party saw the neighbor running from his home back to his neighbor’s home. Officers responded and no report was taken.
1:45 p.m. Harassment: A postal worker reported a man harassing her along her route on W Third Street. She has reported the problem before and told the man not to talk to her at all. An officer responded and no report was taken.
9:45 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A caller reported a man stalking his girlfriend on W Third Street. Officers responded and a report was taken.
Thursday, June 25
9:52 a.m. Theft Other: A theft involving an employee was reported at WalMart. The employee was in the office at the time of the call. An officer responded and a report was taken.
2:27 p.m. Welfare Check: A caller requested a welfare check for a man passed out in his vehicle at Rosauers. Officers responded and arrested the man for drugs. A report was taken.
3:31 p.m. Warrant Arrest: An officer arrested a man on a warrant at the Best Western. A report was taken.
6:04 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A man in camouflage with what looked like a bracelet on his ankle was spotted hiding in the trees near S Main Street and Troy Road. An officer responded and was unable to locate. No report was taken.
7:14 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A patron asked to leave One World Cafe earlier in the day had been wandering outside since then. He kept peering inside the windows even though the business was closed. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the man. The log stated officers would continue to check the area. No report was taken.
8:05 p.m. Weapon Offense/Complaint: A person reported their neighbors on Orchard Avenue were shooting outside. The noise was loud, echoing and affecting the caller’s dog. Officers responded and no report was taken.
