Monday, June 8

7:02 a.m. Vehicle Prowl: A caller reported someone broke into her vehicle the previous night and stole her car keys. She said other items may have been taken but she hadn’t had time to look. A report was taken.

10:15 a.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A skunk had taken up residence in a yard on Moser Street. The caller wanted the animal relocated if possible. An officer advised and no report was taken.

11:49 a.m. Theft Other: A property manager reported items missing after a tenant on E Sixth Street was evicted. The manager mentioned beds and a TV. An officer advised and a report was taken.

8:35 p.m. Burglary: A caller said they noticed pry marks around a dead bolt on E Third Street and said they think someone tried to enter. An officer responded and a report was taken.

Tuesday, June 9

1:12 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A reporting party called regarding a suspicious man with a large knife on Spotswood Street. The man was last seen headed east on Troy Highway.

9:47 a.m. Wanted Person: An officer requested a case at Sunset Mart on Main Street. The officer was unable to locate the wanted person and no report was taken.

11:01 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A caller reported a camera on the ground at Lena Whitmore Elementary School. The caller found it suspicious. An officer responded and no report was taken.

12:18 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: The University of Idaho Dean’s Office received a letter. An officer responded and a report was taken.

3:53 p.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A caller reported multiple animals on E Fourth Street and a smell from the unit making people sick. An officer responded.

5:00 p.m. Noise Complaint: A reporting party advised loud music, which sounded like it was coming from speakers, had been occurring on N Polk Street for the past two to three hours. Officers responded and no report was taken.

6:11 p.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A reporting party was trying to host an event on N Mountain View Road, but several owners had dogs off-leash. The caller stated the dogs were interfering with the event.

Wednesday, June 10

9:44 a.m. Stray Animals: A stray dog was reported on N Grant Street. An Animal Control Officer responded but was unable to locate the dog. No report was taken.

1:05 p.m. Other Law Enforcement Calls: A Moscow Police Department padlock was on a door at the Palouse Empire Mall and the caller needed it removed. An officer responded and no report was taken.

2:53 p.m. Threatening: A Wells Fargo employee stated a customer was threatening them through the phone. An officer responded and no report was taken.

4:10 p.m. Sick or Injured Animal: An injured squirrel was reported on the sidewalk between W A and N Jackson Streets. An officer responded and no report was taken.

5:32 p.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A dog was reported inside a truck at the Logos School and had allegedly been there at least 24 hours. This is listed as an ongoing issue.

7:45 p.m. Stray Animals: An officer requested a case for a found German Shepard with no collar near N Van Buren and E D Streets. No report was taken.

Thursday, June 11

1:21 a.m. Burglary/Intrusion Alarm: Officers responded to an alarm at Mod Pizza. No report was taken.

7:05 a.m. Agency Assistance: On W Pullman Road, officers arrested a man who had eluded Pullman police officers. A report was taken.

7:26 a.m. Burglary: A caller reported someone tried to get into their building on S Blaine Street overnight through the kitchen. It looked like the screen door was pulled back. A report was taken.

2:35 p.m. Violate Court Order: A caller advised a business on W A Street has a protection order against a person who left a threatening voicemail on Tuesday. An officer advised and a computer report was taken.

4:46 p.m. Malicious Mischief: A case was requested for graffiti on University Avenue. No report was taken.

5:09 p.m. Stray Animals: A caller advised of a dog running lose in the Rosauer’s parking lot. An officer responded but was unable to locate. No report was taken.

5:46 p.m. Structure Fire: Law, fire and EMS responded to a fire on W A Street after a caller reported fire in an apartment. Smoke, fire alarm and sprinkler systems engaged. The fire was extinguished and no report was taken.

5:54 p.m. Utility Problem: A communications line was found down on Kenneth Street. Law and fire responded and removed the line from the roadway. No report was taken.

6:17 p.m. Other Law Enforcement Calls: A caller reported a man with a gun who was not supposed to be in possession of a weapon. An officer responded and no report was taken.

10:45 p.m. Animal Problem/Complaint: A cougar was spotted on the sidewalk of N Lincoln Street headed towards D Street. An officer responded and no report was taken.
