Friday, May 22

6:59 p.m. Noise Complaint: A reporting party stated their upstairs neighbors at The Grove had been playing really loud music “for the past few days.” The report also stated the music “just started today.”

10:43 p.m. Extra Patrol: A report came in of multiple cars going over 60 mph on the hill near A&W. The reporting party requested an extra patrol in the area. An officer advised and no report was filed.

Saturday, May 23

2:28 p.m. Other Law Enforcement Calls: A report came in of suspicious parties selling masks near Perimeter Drive and W Pullman Road. An officer responded and no report was filed.

7:32 p.m. Stray Animals: A loose “brindle-colored” dog was reported near E First Street and N Polk Street. An officer responded and no report was filed.

7:42 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: The reporting party stated a suitcase was sitting in front of a cart return area at WalMart. The report stated no one else was around it.

Sunday, May 24

2:08 a.m. Noise Complaint: A report came in near College Avenue about loud music that had lasted since 7 p.m. the previous night. Officers responded and no report was filed.

4:50 a.m. Noise Complaint: The reporting party stated their neighbor had a window open and woke up the reporting party with loud talking. The problem had persisted for the past hour. The reporting party did not know how many people were involved. An officer responded and warned the occupant. No report was filed.

10:13 a.m. Theft of Automobile: A report came in that a 10-foot box truck was stolen from U-Haul around 8 p.m. the previous night. The report stated there is footage of the theft. An officer responded and a report was taken.

12:03 p.m. Stray Animals: The reporting party called about a stray dog he saw 30 to 45 minutes ago on Hawthorne Drive. The reporting party said it jumped in his lap and he had it in his hands. An officer responded and transported the dog to the shelter. No report was filed.

1:05 p.m. Noise Complaint: A report came in of loud music from an apartment on Lauder Avenue. An officer responded and no report was filed.

6:59 p.m. Noise Complaint: A report came in of loud music near E E Street. An officer responded and was unable to locate the problem. No report was filed.

7:10 p.m. Stray Animals: A pregnant dog was seen running near S Mountain View Road and Troy Road. The reporting party stated she seemed scared. Officers responded and no report was filed.

11:40 p.m. Burglary: A reporting party stated someone broke a window at the Taco Time on E Sixth Street and might be in the building. Officers responded and a report was taken.

Monday, May 25

1:55 p.m. Gas Spill or Odor: Fire and law responded to E A Street for a hit residential gas line. No report was filed.

4:01 p.m. Fire: An element in a stove on Levick Street blew, resulting in a fire inside the oven, according to police reports. The stove was removed and the building was ventilated. Fire and law responded and no report was filed.

10:16 p.m. Assault: A report came in of at least three people fighting on Cambridge Circuit. A report was taken.
