Just when I thought relationships were starting to hit the ground running, two relationships got torn apart this week. Chris Harrison turned the drama up a notch. He decided to break up the couples and have them go on dates with other people this week. That was hard to watch, even though most of the couples went back to each other.
The drama continued this week with Julia, and ouch it was rough to watch. Juli and Brandon finally got their time on a date. They wrote a song, kissed and connected through music. Julia left the date with a smile on her face, ready to give this new connection a shot.
While they were on the date poor Sheridan was singing a song wishing she would come back — I think we all knew she was going to break Sheridan’s heart from the beginning.
And she did.
She broke up with him in a not very kind manner, and Sheridan was mad. As he left in the limo, he told the cameraman how he never feels good enough in the relationship to be chosen.
Sheridan was one of my favorites on the show. He was such a great guy who deserves way better from a woman. And the way they edited it with his and Julia’s relationship footage as a montage in this scene hit the feels.
Sheridan for Bachelor anyone?
I think yes.
As the episode continued, I had a gut feeling that Brandon wasn’t quite into Julia that much. He was even extremely rude toward Savannah in their talk telling her she doesn’t open up, when basically Brandon was playing with Savannah’s feelings at this point. She ran off and he followed her asking her what he has to do to make it up to her, and she said she was done.
Girl power right here! She stood up for herself and told him she isn’t going to be anyone’s second choice. I am so proud of her, Brandon is a player and frankly shouldn’t be on this kind of show.
Because of Savannah leaving, Julia assumed Brandon chose her — but he didn’t. He stuck it out with Julia in their performance when he obviously wanted to be with Savannah.
Two great people got hurt in this whole thing — Savannah and Sheridan.
It broke my heart because they deserve so much more than that.
As the episode went on it was hard to watch this couple interact with each other because it just felt forced. They both wanted something they couldn’t have.
It’s disgusting.
And not only that, Natasha meddled in the situation, asking Brandon if he would have chose Savannah if she stayed, and he said yes. Natasha told Julia this before the performances and Julia flipped out. She blamed everything on Natasha — even her and Brandon being sent home.
This episode was a whirlwind of emotions and it was difficult to focus on the other couples. But at Brandon and Julia got what they deserved.
Julia said she made a mistake and wishes she would have went with Sheridan. On her Instagram page she is practically begging him to come back to her, but in my mind that chapter has closed.
I hope you know Sheridan that you deserve so much more to not have your heart played with. And Julia — move on.
Until next week Bachelor nation — “Listen to Your Heart.”
