May 2, 1930
This article from 1930 details that fewer students withdrew from school compared to the last five years before it. Former UI President F.J. Kelly said, “These enrollment figures considered as a whole indicate something of the response of the students to the program which the university is offering them. They are assuming a constantly more serious attitude toward the work of the university.”
April 30, 1940
