Pretzels are a versatile snack; they can be salty or sweet. This recipe does not require yeast and or any deep frying. Top these pretzel bites in any way you want and share with a friend.
For this recipe I used cinnamon and sugar as the topping.
Prep time and cook time: 25-30 minutes
Serving size: 10-15 pretzel bites
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup flour
- 2/3 cups milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ salt
- 1 egg
- Toppings of your choice

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Combine flour, milk, vegetable oil, baking soda, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Roll out dough into strips. The thickness of strips can be rolled as desired. Use a knife to cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Grease a cookie sheet and place bites on sheet.
- Beat the egg and cover bites. Top with the toppings of your choice.
- Bake in the oven for 9-11 minutes.
- Let cool and serve.
