April 23, 1907
Considering summer classes? So were UI students in 1907. The courses offered that summer were Farm Management, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Veterinary Science, Nature Study, English and Mathematics.
April 23, 1915
In 1915, a visiting lecturer said that UI needed more trees and flower beds in order to make the campus more visually appealing. This article detailed the hope for a campus with those things. Looking at our campus today, we know the university has made improvements in that regard.

The Vandals clearly played well in this victory. Read about how the Vandals beat the Bulldogs in this 1957 baseball game.
April 18, 1975
The Kibbie Dome is a staple at UI. This article details some of the decisions made prior to the stadium being built. The photo of the progress of the dome is unclear, but it’s clear that it’s unfinished.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Moscow’s Hemp Fest has been canceled. Look back at this photo by former Argonaut employee Amrah Canul from 2012 of Megan Prusynski hula hooping. She designed the posters and shirts for the festival. Prusynski also performed fire dancing each year at the festival.
