Some students have chosen to stay on campus, which means their dining options have changed. This is how:

Dining options in the Idaho Student Union Building (ISUB) have closed. These options include Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Mein Bowl and Qdoba, according to the Vandals Dining website. Along with The Fishbowl in the University of Idaho Library.

Restaurants including Papa Johns, Joe’s Cheesy Grill and One World Cafe at the Janssen Engineering Building and Stover’s have been closed.

The Hub, located in Wallace Residence Center, remains open offering three meals a day, Bryanna Rose Muscella, field marketing specialist for Vandals Dining, said. Breakfast is from 8 to 9 a.m., lunch is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

On Saturday and Sunday, weekend brunch is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m., according to Vandals Dining.

The Hub is available to students with a meal plan and at-the-door rates are $9 for breakfast, $10 for lunch and $11 for dinner, according to the Vandals Dining website.

The Hub still offers vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options.

Muscella said the on-site campus executive chef and the rest of Vandals Dinning’s team are available to provide specialty meals for anyone with distinct dietary restrictions or needs not generally accounted for during normal service.

“At this time it is imperative we still provide enhanced, comprehensive nutritional meals not only to the general public but to students who are unable to travel home, such as international students. Or find their home at the University of Idaho to be a safer, more grounded option,” Muscella said. “At Vandals Dining, we will continue to strive and provide our guests with distinctive meal service while keeping in mind heightened safety precautions during this unprecedented time.”
