A drink for when you're feeling peachy

Emily Pearce | Argonaut

Every Monday, We will be sharing different drinks to try. This week: Peach Italian Soda

Spring is here and there is no drink that reminds us of fresh air and blooming flowers better than a peach Italian soda does. This drink only requires a minimum of three ingredients and is easy to make.

What you’ll need:

  • Club soda
  • Syrup or juice concentrate
  • Half and half or milk
  • Aesthetic cup
  • Ice

Take a medium sized cup and add ice halfway up the cup. Slowly pour club soda until it reaches about a 3/4 of the way up. Add two tablespoons of peach syrup or juice concentrate and stir until the flavoring is mixed evenly with the soda.

Right now the Italian soda is ready to drink but if preferred, milk or half and half can be added to the drink for creaminess. Add only a splash of milk and stir gently.

Now go enjoy your homemade peach Italian soda and appreciate the spring weather!
